It was a big day today: we hosted our first-ever Future Educator Signing Day ceremony at NQHS!

Through the event, we celebrated 6 graduating seniors who have committed to pursuing careers in education. We thank Mr. Gilbert, our district administrators, Mr. Fotter, and Mayor Thomas P. Koch for their presence and for making this ceremony a success.

Making the event truly special was the presence of QPS educators who had played a pivotal role in influencing our students’ career aspirations. Our students shared their future plans and expressed gratitude for the mentors who have helped to shape their paths. As you might imagine, emotions ran high as we celebrated the impact of each of these educators on our students’ lives!

Congratulations to the members of the Class of 2024 who have committed to careers in education:  Emma Bille, Casey Kelly, Sophie Shaw, Madeline Smith, Lina Wang, and Meera Watkins

This was a significant milestone for NQHS and the district and we hope this becomes an annual tradition, celebrating and supporting the next generation of school educators and leaders!
